"Ian recently sung at my wife's 40th birthday at The Halfway House in Brenchley. From the very beginning Ian was great, he was quick to reply to any messages I sent. I asked for a couple of songs he hadn’t sung before, he learnt them and they went down really well! "Having seen Ian perform at several venues and liking the variety of music that he sings, we decided that

we would like him to play a set at our wedding. Initial contact was easy and Ian was super professional

in his response and pricing documentation. We did see Ian between booking him and our wedding day

but there was always continuous communication with regards to playlist, venue information and timings

etc.

On the day Ian arrived and set up while we were welcoming guests so he was shown to the area by staff

of the venue. He started promptly and looked smart in his suit albeit we weren’t fussed on attire as it

was a very relaxed wedding. He even helped out to announce our first dance which wasn’t one of his

numbers.

It was a hot day and he was performing within a large tipi but I could hear the songs clearly all around

the venue – I don’t mean he was too loud – just perfect for the venue and our day. We had several

comments on how good Ian was but then we knew that anyway.

I wouldn’t think twice about booking Ian again for another event (hopefully I’ll find a reason to) and we

will definitely be keeping an eye out on where he is gigging.

"Having followed Ian for several years both as a solo artist and as part of several different groups it was a “no-brainer” for us when it came to choosing an artist to perform at our wedding.

Ian is an extremely talented musician who is comfortable performing both “basic” acoustic sets for during the ceremony and a more “advanced” set including the use of a loop-pedal during the drink’s reception.

Both during the day and since the day itself many people have commented on how amazing Ian was and how not only was he an extremely talented musician, but also engaged with guests and made them feel welcome and enhanced the enjoyment of their day.

When we look back on our day, we know we gave Ian a very vague “brief” but as always he stepped up to the mark and totally exceeded our expectations.

You're an incredibly talented singer and MADE our wedding breakfast on 11.09.21.

Money very well spent. Of all the money we spent out- we both said how you “our wedding singer” made it for us. I’ve been to many weddings where a wedding breakfast can fall flat. Ours was amazing! We had so so many people comment on how fantastically talented you were and would hire you in the future in a heart beat.

Your a very very talented man!

When we 1st saw you 2 years ago performing in a pub, we booked you straight away. We had bigged you up so much over the last 2 years and our memory of just how good you were did not let us down- in fact. You blew us away even more. There has been date changes and changes in timings on the day (due to little think called Covid) and you have bent over backwards to not only stay in touch but also be flexible. We changed the location of your set up during the day- moving from outside performing an acoustic set during our drinks reception - to inside performing your loop pedal set. We didn’t even notice you doing this change over. You were So respectful of what was going on so not to cause disruption. You also offered your words of advice in the lead up to the day and even offered for us to contact you if we wanted any other help with the wedding preparations.

You turned up suited and booted! Almost as if you were one of our guests. Even the colour scheme matched 😀

I've had lots of people say that it’s the best wedding they have ever been to - and I honestly think that your talent was a massive contribution to that, for kickstarting the feel good factor. The party started long before the evening disco! Although the dance floor was only strictly for myself and kids at that stage. Although looking back at videos- there were many many others, either standing and singing at their tables or just bopping in their seats.

If you are looking at Ian’s page and umming and arrring- do it. He was the best additional bit of money we spent.

 

Ian we are eternally grateful and we will be singing (excuse the pun 😜) your praises for years to come- and if we ever have another big event or anyone asks for recommendations, we would not think twice about booking you again.
